Before Sending Files to Digiset

Things to keep in mind

#1 Color Profile

We appreciate if you send files in CMYK when they are intended for laser printing or in RGB when they are for plotter printing.

#2 Bleeds and Cut Marks

The file to be printed must have a bleed (cutting margin) of 3 mm all around. It is advisable to avoid text or other motifs less than 5 mm from the edge of the job. The inclusion of cutting guides is optional. Please do not include color scales or registration marks.

#3 Resolution and Files

The ideal resolution for files is 300 dpi. Preferably, you should send us the PDF in curves. However, we can accept other formats (JPEG, TIFF, PSD, etc.). If this is the case, please let us know.

#4 Intense Black

If you need to print a black background, it is advisable to create the black with reinforcement, using percentages of C 30%, M 40%, Y 50%, and K 100%. This will produce a more intense black.

#5 Text in Black

It is advisable that texts in black do not contain any percentage of any other color except 100% black. In grayscale, the same should be done with black only.

#6 Lenses, Transparencies, and Overprint

Some software allow the inclusion of lenses and certain viewing functions that may alter the final result of the work to be printed. We appreciate the conversion to image or correction of overprint cases, as these motifs may not appear in the final work.
